Something much lighter and less harrowing than my last journal entry. And man, am I behind with these Snowflakes, but since I've got this 'window' of no work next week, I hope I can catch up!

Favourite scene - well I don't know about a 'favourite.' There are too many. But when I allowed one to spring to mind, I thought instantly back to the very beginning of G1 Season One, to the episode about Sherman Dam .....

Bit intermittent, these challenge responses, because I'm having trouble coping with too many things at once at the moment. But this one's quite simple. Its nice that the mods are so laid back and such lovely people and there's no pressure with this challenge. So here goes:

There is so much to read and of such high quality, it’s small wonder that little fics about obscure characters sometimes get overlooked or buried under more popular work. The fics below fall into the category of those which I loved writing, for different reasons, and was quite proud of, but are not much known.

They are all Insecticon fics. I have a partiality towards the Insecticons. They are not much written about but are fascinating. They are a different species, with different backgrounds, values and all the usual cross cultural issues which pertain in these circumstances. They are also pleasing to look at, funny, sexy, and helped shape evolution on Earth!

Icehopper Transformers G1/Insecticons/905 words. (December 2010). I love the Insecticons – and they can be both horribly dark and amazingly cute. They’re the former in this fic, which is the result of me wanting to write ultra-insectifluff.

Extermination Transformers G1/Insecticons/ 992 words. (September 2011). The Insecticons being dark and gruesome – by our standards, but just ‘normal’ by theirs.

Insecticrack Transformers G1/Insecticons/ 2993 words (September 2011) This sprang from a prompt on the kinkmeme and was my first real go at ‘Insectismut!’ Insecticons indulge in a variety of food, drink – and each other!
