Notes: This is set during BOT, at the beginning, after Defensor has taken out Bruticus. It starts to provide the explanation for why Swindle at first tried to get spare parts for ‘his friends, injured in battle,’ but changed to selling his friends instead and making some money. This is also part of the prelude to ‘Substitute.’

It links to this, and continues the theme that Starscream was implicated in the original Combaticon plot against Megatron.

Written because I have such a soft spot for Swindle, and can’t help giving him the benefit of the doubt:P

Notes Written because I took pity on Swindle always getting beaten up after B.O.T! Set after that episode, during the cease fire when Megatron had gone on a hopeless high grade bender and couldn’t be ‘disturbed’ gone ‘on vacation.’ This may become part of ‘substitute’ since I like this version of events, and the Starscream/Swindle empathy which serves a mutual purpose. Onslaught’s version of Swindle’s antics fits with the canon – in which Swindle did actually intend doing the right thing at the start of BOT but changed his mind. The prequel to this will be about that.

Working on the premise that whilst it might have been ‘Megatron’s mind prison’ in which they were subsequently incarcerated, but there is nothing in canon to confirm that he performed the ‘procedure.’ I say – he didn’t. Somebody much better qualified in mind thingy stuff did …. then later on there were interesting implications, but we never got to see that since we never saw anything after B.O.T.

Notes Too awesome a prompt to ignore – although a challenging one to come up with something in the time! Not beta’d, ends too suddenly and could be much improved, but the idea amused me so maybe I go back to it without time restraints :D. I never wrote anything about Thrust or Silverbolt before.
