AA was only about 10 days ago, but now it seems longer. Time is such a strange thing! I had never been to AA or Botcon before but always wanted to go. It didn't disappoint. Highlights included meeting everyone and hanging out, spending hours fossicking through TFs on sale, old and new, finding and buying some of my favourite TF's, art workshops (in which I think some vague improvement wasn't my imagination) and watching old and new TF episodes.
I also had fun watching artists work and listening in on conversations - though I was rather shy about talking myself as I'm not knowledgeable on comics and was afraid of a blank expression appearing when some poignant reference was made (!) but I did get some lovely pics signed, including this one:

And Chris Carter drew this on consignment which I was really pleased with! I love Swindle's expression:

Other great AA moments included:

Watching Kickback eat crisps o_o

Watching the 1980's movie on the big screen and reciting the oh so well known script, along with half the audience.

The opening ceremony and guests ensemble (I couldn't tell you who was who but it was a fun ensemble!)
Then there be - COSPLAY!!

Meanwhile, Kickback had also acquired a liking for bangers and mash:

Some of my acquisitions. Some other Constructicons, a larger Swindle, Kickback clone and Beast Wars Insecticon later joined this ensemble:

All in all, a brilliant time, and thanks to all who made it that way <333333 The way RL is shaping up, I don't think I'll be there next year - though you never know! But hopefully the year after. And I hope I'll see some of my awesome friends again in the UK in January.
Finally all the newly owned TFs made it back to Australia in one piece and Kickback has a new pet:

Its good that he's settled in so well!
