I have it that since this is set at a time after Smokey started 'helping' Swindle - using the proceeds of the Bank of Iacon - and 'suspicious activities' had been reported to Prowl, he already had an optic on the 'association' and was less than amused. Prowl as the totally straight shooting 'star' of the family and supa cop really appeals to me LOL
