A Decepticat Raider in Suburbia
He looks harmless enough ... don't be fooled!
So I get this cat in the wilds of northern Australia and he is on one long hunting expedition. When he graces us with his presence, the house is littered with dead lizards, birds, insects, snakes etc. And that's sort of OK. In the Wild North. Hey - he's a **bush cat**
But we move to Perth. To the tranquil realms of Jacaranda Springs Estate. Where Catz are supposed to be ** civilized.** And does he change?
Noooo ...
Within a few months, the tally is:
- two rabbits
- three birds
- one rat
- one goldfish
- one bantam chicken
- two guinea pigs
- one bandicoot
This is SOOO not on ...
So I get the biggest collar I can find, complete with 2 bells which you can hear out on the main road 2kms away.
And I thought things had changed. But ...
Tonight he comes under the gate with a **Bunny** which he proceeds to disembowel in front of me, purring all the while. **I'm sooo clever - and you know you love me...**
Q: What do I do with this Cat? he has blue optics (obviously a sham) and is bee-ootiful. But he is a total pain in the aft. And he is going to get himself shot! **cries**
The trials of being a Decepticat person :-(

My old cat used to leave me chipmunks on the deck.
They learn to keep the bell quiet when they hunt.
I don't let mine outside, but you can't stop letting them out when they are used to going outside.
What, you have people there who would shoot him! Bastards!! Shoot back!

And to show you that my kitties can also be cruel.

They're all ever-so-sweet together. You'd never think Simba was a wanton killer.
Actually the vermin are fine - rats, and wild rabbits are real pests here. But the bandicoot? Hmmmmn. And as for the guinea pigs and goldfish. **groans** At least he lost his collar tag with my address on it :-)
