Day 13: Garden Pics

This time they worked!

The one at the bottom is the native plants 'area' at the other end from the vegie garden.

That's an olive tree next to the shed in the second one down and, amazingly, its only just over a year old!

The greyish bushes behind the vegies in the third one down are Roman Wormwood - so good at keeping insects down. The purplish bush right at the back is a native hibiscus.

Still no second invasion of snails, but with this rain I shall be on the alert. In the UK it always seems more to be slugs. But here its definitely snailfest XD

The rain is pattering down out there tonight. I think I'll go and get some peas and beans to add to this collection at the weekend. At last its probably cool enough for them :-)

Your garden's looking amazing! I'm so jealous that you have an olive tree, that's wonderful, and the veggies are looking so tasty.

Thank you! The garden really has kept me sane, so I'm both grateful to it and proud of it :)

That spinach is really tasty. And the olive trees - yes - there's another two baby ones and none of them had olives this year but I'm hoping they will next. Olives are divine :-) They've done better than the other fruit trees.

How are your raspberries? Alas, there are none of those out there!

Olive trees grow really well here, but that one seems to especially like that spot. I think its a black olive. Can't wait to find out!

Its rained torrentially today so happy plants really are very happy XD
