Hook I see as a narcissist, with a chip on the shoulder and touch of insanity. I like to think of him as having had a fair influence on First Aid - and yet also part of a pattern: First Aid, who likes so much to be in control of himself, nevertheless always has this weakness for mechs a bit over the edge.
