I see the Protectobots as having a less incestuous set up than some other gestalts (!) and outside relationships are encouraged, being considered 'healthy.' Although this one does affect their functionality, which makes First Aid think about his stance on that.

Beachcomber really digs Groove - but he's hesitant, partly because he doesn't know what the effect of this will be on Groove or his team - and doesn't want to hurt him (he is a really amazingly decent guy); and partly because he's been hurt himself before. A couple of times!
